“Maureen Ponderosa’s Wedding Massacre” is tonight, featuring the return of Maureen Ponderosa and the McPoyles! Also featuring Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Dee, and Frank! Maybe some other people too.

That’s 192 characters in the title, a new record for the Paddy’s Pub Blog and we’re all really proud of ourselves over here. It’s not like we’ve got anything else to do. I mean I could go on for a whole blog post about  tonight’s episode and how you need to watch it, but you know all that already. You know tonight’s episode is going to be hilarious, that the McPoyles are back with their entire extended family, and that madness will descend upon Maureen Ponderosa’s wedding. And of course you’ve already seen this promo:

Hell, the only way I can truly demonstrate value to you well-informed fans is by telling you we’ve got a digital wheelbarrow full of webisodes to post after tonight’s “Sunny”. See, we got stuck in the woods for an entire week filming this episode, so you can be sure we got a bunch of behind-the-scenes McPoyles footage, interviews, and more to keep you fans happy and salivating until next Thursday.

We also saw a lot of snakes in those woods, and not to go off topic here but I hate snakes. You can’t trust them. They just lie around, looking like innocent pieces of rope until WHAM! In fact, the only thing I hate more than snakes is destination weddings. Who gets married in the woods? Don’t you know there’s goddamn snakes in the woods? Yeah hey, let me just drop $500 on a plane ticket so I can watch two idiots trade vows in the heart of darkness where serpents can descend from trees and lay eggs in my brain while I’m asleep, dreaming of a better world in which ropes stay rope. Anyway that’s why I couldn’t go to your wedding, Justin Timberlake.

Back on topic, it’s time to block all peripherals and get ready for a truly horrifying half hour of comedy tonight, 10pm, only on FX.
