Tonight’s episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: “The Gang Recycles their Trash”; Airing at 10pm, only on FX

One episode into the new season, and I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling pretty amped about this year.  Maybe it’s the simple joy that comes from seeing the gang back on television after such a long hiatus.  Maybe it was the return of television’s funniest Nazi grandpa last week. Perhaps it’s simply because I was able to fit so many words into the title of this blog post.  Who can say?  The only sure thing is that this week’s episode is gonna bring some serious funny and features some more old Sunny friends.  Don’t know what I mean?  Check out this promo…

That’s right.  Martina Martinez is back!  That’s probably not the only familiar face you recognized in this week’s preview.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re probably not a real Sunny fan and you need to rethink how you spend your free time. For instance, you are currently reading the blog of a television show you don’t watch.

But hold on, don’t go anywhere, I wanna make this worth your while.  During filming of last week’s episode, we were lucky enough to get a few moments to sit down with Brian Unger, known to most of you simply as “The Lawyer”.  He’s a huge fan of the show and had some pretty amazing insight into what it’s like to work on Sunny:

Truly a great actor.  He’s absolutely nothing like the character he plays on Sunny.
