Season 7 Finale is Tonight!

Well here we are again, at the end of another great season. It’s been a hell of a ride, folks, but there’s still thirty more minutes of brand new Sunny before we have to shut this bitch down until next year. We’ll pick up tonight with Part 2 of “High School Reunion”, where the gang enacts their glorious revenge for the shameful wedgie-fest inflicted on them by the cool kids. Also, let’s not forget this happened:

You can watch the preview for tonight’s episode (just in case you don’t give a shit about MASSIVE SPOILERS) on the official FX site. But hey, maybe spoilers are your thing. Personally, I run screaming out of the room any time I hear the words “next week, on…”. I like being surprised, which is why I’m so bummed out that I already know what the big surprise is at the end of this episode. Without hyping it up too much, I just want to say that the ending of tonight’s episode will leave a lot of people speechless — and also it can cure cancer. Ah there I go over-hyping again. Never mind me — just check out this behind the scenes interview with Catherine Reitman, who you may possibly recognize as Dennis’ ex-wife, Maureen Ponderosa:

And that’s not even the last of our Webisodes! We’re putting a bunch more up on the Sunny Facebook Firsts page after tonight’s episode. Boy we really uploaded a shitload of those things this year, and had a great time doing it. I feel like we should get some kind of award for sheer webisode volume — and not some stupid fake award like the ones I keep making for myself and hiding in easy-to-find places while blackout drunk. At least I think I’m making those. Either way I win, but hey this blog post isn’t about me. At least not this paragraph. This paragraph should be about you guys, the loyal fans who help keep this show alive by tuning in every week. You guys are amazing, and this isn’t just the entire bottle of whiskey I just chugged talking, but I would kiss you all on the mouth if I could. Thank you all for making this another successful season with your continued support for the show, and if you’re actually reading this — a bonus holy shit thank you for keeping up with the blog of a TV show. You must really love Sunny! And that makes you awesome.

Welp so now I am officially blackout drunk, and it’s time to hand out some awards. I know someone very special who deserves an award. Someone who has worked tirelessly to bring a sense of community to the Paddy’s Pub Blog for years now, and tonight will finally receive the recognition he deserves. This person’s name… is “Dak” — and they are the Paddy’s Pub Blog Commenter Of The Year! Here’s your award bro:

Dak, you’re always there for the blog when it has an empty comments section, even when it means you are literally the only one in there. I once saw five weeks’ worth of blog posts all in a row displaying the words “1 Comment” underneath, and I didn’t have to even GUESS that it was my dog Dak holding down the fort. I want you to take this award all the way to the bank, you earned it buddy. And I’m gonna spend tomorrow trying to figure out how to edit that image into all of your comment posts. Until then, I can only hope that you’re not really my mom in disguise and you finally found out the address to this blog.

Okay, that’s it for me folks. I’ll pop back on the blog if I find any webisodes that slipped between the cracks, but I am thorough as shit so I doubt that happened. In fact, if it turns out I missed anything, I will personally film Danny DeVito punching me in the gut and upload the video to this very blog.
