Tonight!: FatMacSkinnyMacFatMacSkinnyMac!

Hey folks…has anyone else noticed that Mac has gained a little weight?  Now I know it’s part of our job in the webisode department to pay close attention to the nuances of the show, but somehow this one slipped right past me.  Maybe it was because I’ve been so distracted by the sheer hilarity of this season, or maybe I shouldn’t have been snorting Ambien during filming, who can say?  Regardless, the fact remains that Mac has undergone a metamorphosis of gargantuan proportions.  If any of you out there aren’t sure about this, lean in close to your screen…a little closer… and pay attention to the two versions of Mac in this preview.

There you go!  Clear as day.  When you put them back to back, it’s amazing how ginormous he got!  To say that this puts Rob in the annals of such staggering transformations as Charlize Theron in Monster, Marlon Brando in everything after 1978 and Calista Flockhart in The Machinist is a gross understatement.  I mean, holy shit!  What could drive a man to do that?  He must have eaten his skinny self to tack on that much mass.  I tried to pull some memories of his diet from my sleeping-pill induced haze, but I got nothin’.  Fortunately, someone shot this interview that covers it all.

Phew, that interview really saved my ass.  The only question remaining is why Mac got fat.  We’re not authorized to tell you that here, but luckily, you can tune in tonight at 10pm on FX to find out.
